A: WebWhistler is a 100% web-based content administration system. In order to renew the content of your homepage, you need a computer equipped with an Internet connection and an Internet Explorer web browser. Installation of additional programmes is not necessary. This page is completely administered using the WebWhistler system.

Q: Whom is WebWhistler designed for?
A: WebWhistler is a system designed for companies that want to keep the content of their homepage constantly up to date and to do so quickly and conveniently using the labour force of the company itself. It is important to remember that a user with common knowledge of computers is able to successfully use the administration program - it does not require any prior knowledge about HTML or programming.

Q: How does WebWhistler operate?
A: To renew the content of your homepage you have to log on to the WebWhistler administration system, make the necessary modifications (for example, add news, product descriptions and pictures, modify the menu structure of the homepage) and save the changes. As of the moment of saving, the information added by you becomes available to the visitors of the homepage.

Q: What are the advantages of WebWhistler?
A: Updating entire homepage takes place in the WYSIWYG environment. It means that the results of your work are already immediately shown in the course of work. In addition to modification of the content, it is possible to change the templates and the structure. The Cut-Copy-Paste orders that are familiar to you from the Windows environment are used, which makes adding new information considerably faster.

The simplicity of administration of the structure of the homepage is also important.

In addition, using WebWhistler is similar to using other commonly used software, which makes learning to use the program intuitive.

Q: What is the price of WebWhistler software?
A: The price depends on whether you wish to purchase the software or lease it. Current prices are presented in the price list sub-page.

Q: We are interested in leasing the WebWhistler software. What happens to the web page if we decide not to lease the software any further?
A: In this case you will have the possibility to make a static HTML copy of the current homepage and put it up in a web server chosen by you.

Q: Do you also provide homepage design services?
A: Yes, we do. We provide complex solutions for homepages ranging from planning and task-identification to registration in search engines.  

Q: What are the prices of web design if we want to order a complex solution from you?
A: The price of making a homepage depends on the complexity of the solution. The prices of simpler solutions start from 350 EUR.

Q: How is the WebWhistler software licensed?
A: If the software is purchased, the user receives the right to use a copy of the program for updating a web page based in one web server. The given web page may obviously contain an unlimited number of sub-pages. The copyright of the program and ownership of the source codes remains to the seller of the software. If the customers need to use the software in several virtual servers, they can purchase additional licenses. The price of an additional license is 1/4 of the price of the main license, provided that the virtual servers are located in the same server.

Q: What are the requirements for web server or administrator's work station?
Server hosting WebWhistler manageable website should have:

• PHP 4.0 (or later version) installed
• access to MySQL database (3.23 or later version)
• Mail transport agent, Zend Optimizer

Requirements for administrators computer:

• Internet Explorer 4.0 or later version installed
